Transforming Set into the awakened Horus
Walking the path after initiation
In the Golden times of ancient Egypt, we, the human race, experienced deep connection within ourselves and with the cosmos. We were able to remember where we came from; we knew our star seed and we communicated with the star systems we originated from prior to arriving on Earth. We knew the star names of the Neteru, who we now refer to as the gods and goddesses of Egypt. We knew the star portals of which some of the Neteru are both guardians and teachers. Most commonly we aligned with the Sirius star portal opened for us by Isis (ISET), and the portal of the Orion Belt whose door is guarded by Osiris (AUSIR). These key star portals and others are still found in the temples and the pyramids in the sacred sites of ancient Egypt, and are reflected in the morphology of the land.
In this high state of awareness of the Golden Times, supported by the star portals of light, we remembered our inner nature as beings of light, and we could feel what was true in each moment. Yet even during these times of deep connection, the conditioning of the planet was still present, albeit not as strong as now. The conditioning, embodied by the Neter Set, was seen as a vicious hungry animal, an otherworldly monster. It was not an animal that is found in our natural world. – neither a dog, hyena, or jackal, but their combination, a peculiar thing. Set was seen as an entity that was man-made, genetically modified from other animals, and alien to nature. Thus Set’s aim is to alienate us from our own nature, and create chaos. In contrast, the other gods and goddesses are represented by animals, birds, and plants that are found in nature around Egypt, and their aim is to bring in the light and create harmony and balance.
The ancient Egyptians were very proficient in depicting the universal powers through images and symbols that can speak to us over millennia. For every power that is beneficial to the world and supportive of life, they chose a specific animal that represented that power. The Neter, the god or goddess embodying this power, is depicted as a human being wearing the headdress, and sometimes, the mask of the animal they represent. Yet the face/mask of Set is peculiar. Who is Set? How can we know this being for whom we have no reference in the natural world?
The conditioning of the world is an energy field that has invaded our human minds and orientated us towards separation and chaos, even though in our essence we are Divine love.
The ancient Egyptians described the era of Set, the era we are currently living through, as a time of corruption of sacred teachings. Set reigns when humanity disrespects the sacred, and when humanity also disrespects life. Ra explains this predicament in the pyramid texts: It is a time when humanity turns against the Creator and the creation, against the sacredness of life itself.
There are many ways in which initiates of the living light can lose their path and calling, and fall prey to Set, the conditioning. This is why the ancients taught that the road after initiation takes time, even lifetimes. There is no quick fix, yet so many are looking for a magic pill or a magic light switch, that will instantly activate the state of enlightenment in everyone.
The enlightenment state is so powerful it can only be approached in stages. If someone was to experience enlightenment unprepared, without years of spiritual practice transforming the power of Set into the power of the spiritual light warrior Horus, then they will experience a burnout – a loss of mental and physical power. Moreover, the person may become insane, either temporarily or permanently. This is why this path should be undertaken with care. The initiate walks the sacred road and gradually accumulates and integrates the sacred knowledge, spiritual energy, and power, and consciously activates the awakening state that is birthed from within.
It is true that during our times now, the high vibrational light flowing to the Earth, is opening the path for many of us, and accelerating our spiritual progress. At the same time, unless we do the deep work to heal and overcome the ego, the pitfalls on the road will open in front of us, like a chasm that suddenly appears. And before we know it, we will have lost our way and any progress we may have made and our light remains hidden.

Isis says to us:
“I welcome you, children of the future. I welcome you children of the past – as it was many lifetimes ago you planted the seeds for this time. And in this lifetime you are planting the seeds for what is to come. You are travelling through eternity and you have come to Earth and planted seeds of light and seeds of darkness. And all you have planted has value for you, even the seeds of darkness enable you to see more clearly the seeds of light. This is not the time to dwell in the darkness. So many people are lost in their mind, in endless cycles of depression, deep sorrow, despair, and hopelessness. This is because the connection with the higher self, the connection with the inner light, is no longer there. This connection is never lost but obscured under the heaviness of the human predicament.
How has this disconnection happened when you are luminous beings of grace? The conditioning of the Earth, fed by the collective mind of the entire human race, has absorbed you. Your energy is outside of yourself. You are attached to the conditioning rather than your inner light. This happens in different degrees for each person, depending on their level of awakening. Yet you all have this inner light. We now invite you to discover again your deep connection with your light.
This is the time to step away from the conditioning and sit inside your body. Open the Lotus flower of the sacred heart and feed the seeds of light within you and those that exist in the collective. You can do this through compassion, love, understanding, awareness, and awakening through your heart. It is in your heart where you will find the sacred knowledge that exists within you. The high vibrational energies and spiritual practices that I have offered you are supporting you on this road.”
